Student resilience and wellbeing are essential for both academic and social development and this is optimised by the provision of safe, supportive and respectful learning environments. Schools share this responsibility with the whole community.

Not only do confident, resilient young people with a capacity for emotional intelligence perform better academically, they also contribute to the creation of strong social bonds and supportive communities, and the maintenance of healthy relationships and responsible lifestyles.

As a Safe School Eynesbury is committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for all students to belong and to learn.

The Eynesbury Mentor Program held every Monday supports students' cognitive, behavioural and emotional engagement in school with strategies to deal with a variety of situations including stress and anxiety, and developing and improving their overall wellbeing.

See below for an example of a Term in the Mentor Program.
